This part thatched delightful period farmhouse is situated in the quiet hamlet of Throop beside the River Piddle.

We are surrounded by extensive gardens and farmland, in the midst of 'Thomas Hardy' country between Wimborne and Dorchester, in the parish of Turnerspuddle.

The river runs just across the lane from our house with excellent walking, bicycling and bird watching on our doorstep.
